Chuck Bolton is the president of The Bolton Group, an executive assessment and development firm headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, retained by CEOs and senior executives who seek positive change in their leaders and top teams through behavioral coaching.
Chuck assists leaders to master the proven behaviors and styles that drive hard results, reinvent how they create value and optimize their unique executive brands. He assists top teams to achieve extraordinary performance and win. He has coached and consulted more than 1,000 executives and assessed more than 100 top teams in the US, Canada, Europe and Israel. The clients he serves range from early stage companies to Fortune 15 global powerhouses, including Baxter, Boston Scientific, Covidien, CR Bard, ev3, Hewlett-Packard, Medtronic, Opus Group, Syngenta, United Healthcare and many more.
  Chuck is the developer of Top Team Check, a proprietary assessment tool and road map for extraordinary top team performance. He is the author of Leadership Wipeout: The Story of an Executive’s Crash and Rescue (Expert Publishing, 2006), and is the author of the soon to be released, The Hole in Your Team. He is a co-author of two books in the Power of the Platform series.
A popular speaker on executive development and leadership topics, Chuck appears each month on the NBC affiliate in Milwaukee, WTMJ, where he discusses ideas on leadership. His speaking audiences have included Fortune 500 companies, universities, professional associations and nonprofits in the US and Canada. Chuck is an instructor at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, where he created and instructs “Optimizing Your Unique Executive Brand” to executives and mid-level business leaders.
Prior to launching his executive assessment and development practice in 2000, Chuck held the position of group vice president, Human Resources, Boston Scientific. He held similar positions at SCIMED Life Systems, Baxter and American Hospital Supply Corporation.
Chuck received an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a BA from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. He has received training and certification in executive coaching, emotional intelligence and related topics from Corporate Coach U,Hay Group, Adaptiv Learning Systems, the Alliance for Strategic Leadership and the Arbinger Institute.
